Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
I believe that everyone is capable of uncovering and shifting self-defeating thoughts while promoting resilience in their everyday lives no matter the circumstances. Counseling is not one-size-fits-all, so together we will discover your strengths and learn new coping skills that work for you. I strive to create a safe, comforting, and warm environment where my clients can explore their concerns without the distractions of the world. Humor is something to expect from me as well! I specialize in working with late teens and emerging adults and have spent the bulk of my career doing trauma work as well as treating the symptoms of dissociation, depression, and anxiety. I am passionate about EMDR therapy and have adopted this approach as my primary modality.

About Me:
When I am not wearing my counselor hat, you can find me traveling with my husband, enjoying live music, drinking a fancy cup of coffee, or learning a new recipe. I am a big Cleveland Guardians fan and try to make it out to games as often as possible. I have also never been known to turn down a good queso dip or street taco! I’m an avid reader of fantasy and rom-coms and often can be seen with my Airpods, devouring audiobooks, in my free time.
