Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
I have experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults in both agency and private practice settings. I approach counseling using a person-centered and cognitive behavioral orientation with the perspective that I am walking alongside you on your journey to wellness. I can help you identify your strengths and utilize those to manage your stressors. We can work together to combat intrusive thoughts and improve your overall self-confidence and well-being. We can explore valuable skills for change, including effective communication skills and coping strategies. I have a warm and practical approach as I focus on guiding you to become the best version of yourself, so you can enjoy all aspects of your life.

About Me:
I love spending time with my husband, kids, and cat! I enjoy cooking/baking, crafting, spending time outside, camping, and traveling. Cheesecake is my go-to dessert, coffee is a daily must-have, and tacos are a weekly must-have! My high school guidance counselor inspired me to become a counselor and I love what I do.
