Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:

I believe each individual person benefits from different theoretical approaches, skills, techniques, and styles of counseling. I strive to determine and match what best fits the client’s needs, and often allow the client to take the lead in determining topics to focus on and ways of addressing concerns in their life. I have previous experiences working with children in community-based, office-based, and school-based setting. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. I specialize working with early childhood to school aged children who experience anxiety, disruptive behaviors, life adjustments, mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD with further training in play therapy and child-centered interventions. I make it my goal each session to ensure that you feel safe to express yourself however you find fit. I am dedicated to work alongside you to assist you with reaching your goals in a collaborative manner.
