Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
I work to provide a safe, comforting, and calm space for you to express your thoughts and emotions. You are the expert of your own life, and I hope to hold space for your unique life path while offering guidance and support along the way. I approach counseling from a holistic, person-centered perspective, viewing clients as multi-faceted human beings with inherent strengths and abilities. I also utilize mindfulness techniques to help you connect your mind and body and find clarity during life challenges.
Specialty Areas & Client Focus:
Anxiety and depression
Self-esteem
Adolescents and Emerging Adults
LGBTQ+ Affirming
Women’s Issues
About Me:
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy going to yoga classes, finding hiking spots, exploring restaurants, cooking a new recipe, and traveling. Additionally, I love attending meditation and sound bath classes (anything that can get me in zen mode). I deeply appreciate my time spent with loved ones and friends – bonus if pups are around as well!
